Good
Overall, this stay was fine. Ultimately, we just needed somewhere to sleep. The room actually felt new - I think it had been refurbished so no complaints there. What we didn’t know was that the rest of the hotel was under refurb too - I was a bit annoyed that we were not told about this prior to arriving. We had major issues with our air con - I had to ask 3 times for someone to come and sort it cos our room was hitting 27/28 degrees, even with the window open. On our last day, we finally got it checked for it to be confirmed it wasn’t working and we were given a fan. Had to ask twice for new towels. There were also issues with the front doors opening and we were locked out at one point. Because the reception wasn’t open in our hotel, we had to keep going next door to the other hotel as that’s where it was operating from. Not ideal when you’re only there for 3 nights. We did speak to someone about this and they were very apologetic and invited us for breakfast the next day. All the people we spoke to were really lovely and, overall, the issues we had didn’t impact our stay in Budapest too much. I think once the refurb is done, this will be a great hotel to stay in.

Very Good
The hotel has a great location — it's easy to reach the main attractions, and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff were very polite and helpful, which left a good impression. The room was clean, the furniture was new and modern, and the internet connection was good — all big pluses. We checked in late at night, so it was really convenient that the reception is open 24/7 — that was a big advantage. Another nice feature was the luggage storage room. While we were out enjoying the city after check-out, we could leave our bags safely at the hotel.
Unfortunately, we had an issue with the room temperature during our stay. When we arrived, the temperature in the room was only 15°C. We tried to use the air conditioner for heating, but it didn’t work. During the night, we contacted the staff and were told that the AC only works for cooling. A staff member came with us to the room and turned the AC off, saying that this should help the temperature rise. We were given two extra blankets and hot water, but it was still cold — the temperature went up only to 17°C during the night and reached a maximum of 20.5°C in the morning. It was uncomfortable to sleep because of the cold air in the room. In the morning, we were offered coffee, which was a nice touch. Overall, the staff were very kind, but the issue with the cold room was disappointing and affected our overall experience.
